Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Rewild Refuge Farm Sanctuary (RRFS)! As a community-run, volunteer-powered organization, our volunteers are the heart of our daily care. Our rescued residents rely on dedicated helpers to keep them happy, healthy, and safe. Volunteering is truly rewarding—you’ll build real connections with the animals and make a meaningful difference.

Friendly heads-up: please apply only if you’re ready to commit. We invest time in training and plan our days around our volunteer team, so reliability really matters. Thank you!

Please read the following requirements before applying: 

• Must be able to lift 30 or more pounds and willing to work in a variety of weather conditions

• The volunteer tasks primarily consist of cleaning animal living areas. This means shoveling and scooping lots of poop, raking hay and shavings, scrubbing water bowls and filling them, sweeping areas, replacing bedding, and other related tasks. We need help year round, rain or shine, so please be prepared! The work can be physically demanding!

• Failure to show up or consistently canceling scheduled shifts can lead to termination from the program
