Aaron oversees the day-to-day operations of the Sanctuary including carpentry, fencing, and grounds maintenance. He is a lifelong lover of animals, and has a soft spot for sheep. Aaron is pivotal in developing, implementing, and evaluating resident infrastructure and new builds as we expand, as well as helps organize fundraising events and other opportunities to support RRFS’s initiatives.
Aaron is the best person to call during an animal emergency!

Aaron - VIce president

Greg has been with RRFS since its conception, starting as a dedicated volunteer and moving into the role of Board Member. Besides being the Secretary, Greg is our resident pig whisperer, our construction guru, and helps with absolutely anything and everything needed around the sanctuary -from bottle feeding newborns, to repairing fences, to transporting incoming rescues, to picking up supplies at the feed store. Greg does anything and everything to help animals in need, and the sanctuary cannot run smoothly without his help!

Ashley
DIRECTOR OF ANIMAL WELLNESS

Originally from Southern California, Ashley grew up with dreams of a horse ranch and had fond memories of farm life in Minnesota, including a life-changing moment witnessing a calf's birth. Now a devoted wife, mother, and lover of pit bulls and chickens, she finds purpose and peace volunteering at RRFS. Her volunteer journey began as a tribute to her grandfather's legacy, leading to unexpected joy and connection with our "farm babes."

Ashley's volunteer days are filled with moments of joy, from providing belly rubs to the pigs to serenading her "soul-horsie" Penny. She's a dedicated steward of creation, seeing all farm animals as family, and crafting herbal remedies to improve wellness for both humans and animals.

Ashley brings her background as a registered nurse to oversee the health and well-being of all our rescues, including preventive care, veterinary services, nutrition, emergency response, and regular health + wellness protocols!
